The goal
Select finishes, fixtures and furnishings for a condo remodel in a clean,
contemporary style. Let the client’s art collection be the focal
point. Visually minimize the low ceiling height.
Some highlights
Furnishings act as a subtle backdrop for art by repeating subtle neutral
tones that already appear in the architectural finishes. Extremely simple
lines provide sophistication but speak softly. Added color is used sparingly.
Pale walls and ceilings fool the eye into seeing more height than actually exists. A dark floor increases this effect. Seating pieces with low backs contribute in the same way.
Fireplace stone quarried from the Green River formation in Wyoming features fossilized fish.
